Welcome to Bit Of Everything Farm
Welcome to Bit of Everything Farm we are family run farm in Churubusco, Indiana. The farm we live on has been in the family for nearly 80 years. We pride ourselves in growing most of the food our animals eat.
We raise
We started in goats as a 4H project with our daughter Hannah. We started out with 2 commercial Boer does in 2009. We bought a registered doe later that year and the next year made the decision to go with registered goats through ABGA. In December 2011 we bought a bred Nubian doe to help feed our bottle kids and instantly fell in love with the breed. In February 2013 we got a doe kid from Doug's uncle that raised Saanens. We loved the personality from the start. We continued to build on the three breeds until Hannah went to college. During her college years, we ended up selling the Boer goats to focus more on the dairy. Our goats are CAE negative and all dairy kids are raised on prevention. We participate in (DHI) Dairy Herd Improvement and we do Linear Appraisals on our milking does. We try to make it to as many local goats shows with our goats. Show wins are posted on the individual does pages along with their scores from appraisals.
